I have nothing but great things to say about Memory & Co. It’s hard to come by good help and good people but you’ll definitely find that here. I had the pleasure of meeting Ashley, Victor and Karen. They took their time with explaining what the club has to offer and I really felt that this place is the closest thing home can offer. It’s catered to memory loss and the staff here really know how to take care of their residents. The tour was unrushed and I was able to take my time and had all my questions answered. The staff seem to be genuinely happy and the attention that the residents get seem to be much higher than many other clubs / retirement homes that I have paid a visit to. The location is easy to find, the space is open concept and very inviting. I wish they had more locations catering to memory loss / dementia like this.

My Mom goes to Memory and Company one day a week and LOVES to go! Glen, the music man is a big favorite and the pampering she receives is always enjoyed. Thanks for the great program and a welcome change of pace for my Mom.

Memory & Company is a wonderful place for people with memory loss whether it be for long-term stay, respite stay or their day program. The physical location is beautiful, clean and most importantly happy. Music is a big part of the joy! Their day-to-day team is amazing, caring, kind, compassionate and capable. The owners and leadership team are professional, innovative, hands-on and engaged. Our family cannot say enough good things about the care they have provided for our dear mom and all their residents and participants over the past 3+ years during which she has been a full-time resident in Markham. We are truly grateful!!!

Excellent day program for people with memory loss.

Last Friday, Memory & Company and Mom shared a special anniversary – the 3rd Birthday of this memory health club and Mom’s 3rd year as an enthusiastic weekly participant! It’s hard to sum up all of the benefits that this social club has provided for Mom as she navigates the ever-changing landscape of living with dementia. I guess Mom says it best when she tells me that going to the Club is fun and makes her feel respected, needed and important. From the beautiful indoor/outdoor/respite room settings, to the incredible number of stimulating day program activities, to the brain friendly, delicious meals prepared by the Chef, there is not one aspect of this Club that has not been envisioned and developed with the upmost care and focus on what is best for the guests. The founders Ashley and Victor are compassionate and passionate about providing quality care to people with dementia, and the M&C team are caring, loving, open-minded and patient with each and every member. Mom loves being greeted on arrival with smiles and enthusiasm, and relishes in the attention and love from the team throughout the day. As the daughter/caregiver of a guest, I can’t say enough about Memory & Company. But Mom says it best in the car after each visit: I ask her how her day was and she says ‘You know, I think it was my best day ever because I had so much fun’.

As a new caregiver I was very nervous about leaving my mom (with dementia) under anyone’s supervision; afraid they wouldn’t understand her needs. After seeing the cleanliness, staff attentiveness and scope of their activities program, I felt very comfortable with the attention to every detail of care. When i need a break, it is like booking her into a fancy all-inclusive resort that even has spa options available. My mom now calls it her “Entertainment Centre” so I feel good when i leave her in their capable hands. 😊

An inclusive club with innovative approaches to memory care. Great, safe place for your loved ones to both visit and stay…the flexible packages have been a saving grace!

Great patient care, wonderful staff and cuisine. Lighting is very inviting and bright, and private rooms are spacious and modern.

This is such a great place for Mom and Me. Mom has a great time here. She has meet lots of friends, and the staff are great. This place allows me some time too, to get things done or take a day off without worry! Thanks Memory & Company.
